Narration: “Banner Health, a leading major health system in the nation, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, internationally renowned for its cancer treatment and research, join together to establish the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center on the campus of Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona near Phoenix.”

Narration: “Patients will receive cancer care in the new state-of-the-art 133 thousand square foot out-patient center and on two in-patient floors within Banner Gateway Medical Center.”

Audio: “So we’re really bringing essentially two giants, when it comes to health care, and we will now bring together to collaborate in one venture.”

Edgardo Rivera Audio: “It’s very exciting, the fact that you’re building something from the ground up in an area that there was a need to have a comprehensive cancer center, but also to be able to offer these type of services to the oncology patients in this area.”

Narration: “Under MD Anderson clinical leadership, the standard of clinical care at the new facility will mirror services provided in Houston with identical protocols and practice standards and similar equipment capabilities. Surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and other clinical services will be provided using the multidisciplinary approach to patient care that was pioneered at MD Anderson. For patient convenience, all services are located on a single campus.”

Narration: “Banner MD Anderson physicians will collaborate with world-class specialists in Houston, tailoring treatment plans based on each patient’s cancer type and unique needs.”
