Support Groups
Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center offers a variety of support groups to assist cancer survivors and their support teams. These programs are offered for all survivors at any stage in their journey to wellness. All classes are offered at no cost to cancer survivors and their caregivers, and are open to the community.
Classes are held at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, 2946 E. Banner Gateway Drive, Gilbert, AZ 85234.
Living and Coping with Cancer Support Group
A therapeutic support group led by a Licensed Social Worker to encourage hope and healing for all cancer patients and their support. Caregivers are encourage to attend, but please no children under 16 years of age. This class is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m.

Journey to Wellness Group
A wellness education group led by a registered dietitian and exercise physiologist that promotes healthy lifestyles. A different topic will be discussed every month. This one-hour group will be held on the second Thursday of the month in the Wellness Center at 5:30 p.m.

Resistance Exercises for the Cancer Survivor
Laryngectomee Education Support Group
This support group provides head and neck cancer patients with education, peer interaction, professional support for using electro larynx, esophageal speech and an environment for growth. This group will be led by a Speech language Pathologist specializing in oncology care. This class is held the third Thursday of the month at 1 p.m.

Gynecologic Cancer Learn & Support Group

This monthly group is for those diagnosed with Gynecologic cancer including ovarian, cervical or endometrial cancer to find support and learn from one another. Sharing your experiences with others who have had similar experiences can reduce stress and anxiety. Discuss aspects of living with cancer, treatments, side effect management and survivorship. Open to family and friends.
Colorectal Cancer Learn &Support Group

This monthly group is for those diagnosed with colorectal, gastric or pancreatic cancer to find support and learn from one another. Breast Cancer Learn & Support Group
