If you have been bitten or stung by an insect, snake or spider, call the Banner Poison Control Center immediately at 1-800-222-1222.

The poison center operates a free, 24-hour hotline. The poison center nurses or pharmacists will decide if you can be treated at home, need to be seen by a physician or should go to a hospital emergency department.

If you can be treated at home, the poison center will keep in contact with you by calling back and checking on your condition. If your condition worsens, you will be directed to the nearest emergency department or the paramedics can be called.
