Volunteers make a difference!
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and make significant contributions of time and talent. Each year, volunteers donate nearly 40,000 hours of time and talent to our medical center and generate funds that benefit Banner Thunderbird programs and services through the fund-raising efforts of the gift shop and other special sale events.
Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is looking for compassionate and caring individuals who would be willing to volunteer a few hours a week at the hospital.
Opportunities are available in many areas of our medical center. We currently have openings in the following areas:
- Information
- Surgery
- Emergency Room Hospitality
- Golf Cart Shuttle
- Gift Shop
- as well as limited openings in our Teen Volunteer Program (teens must be at least 14 years of age and a freshman in high school).
