Larry Fitzgerald Football ProCamp presented by Banner Children’s
Banner Children’s is proud to sponsor the 2014 Banner Children’s Larry Fitzgerald Football ProCamp. Campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of football. Individual groups will be small to ensure that each camper gets maximum instruction from the top football coaches in the Phoenix area. Campers will also participate in daily games, stations and skill contests right along with Larry. Learn more about the Larry Fitzgerald Football ProCamp.

 Learn More About Infertility

As part of Infertility Awareness week, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is hosting an infertility seminar featuring leading infertility specialists and OB/GYN. Topics include becoming healthy enough to plan a pregnancy and the reasons why couples have infertility issues.

The free event is planned for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 26.

Stroke Check
In conjunction with the American Heart Association, Banner Thunderbird is offering free stroke screenings during National Stroke Awareness Month. The Stroke Check community screening program is designed to educate people who may not know they are at risk of stroke. People currently under the care of physicians for stroke, mini-stroke or TIA should instead continue care with their own physician. Activities vary by hospital but may include completion of a written stroke risk assessment, blood pressure and pulse screen, glucose screen (4-hour fast is recommended) and the opportunity to talk with clinical experts.
