Heart Health Lectures
The Heart Health community lecture series is free and open to the public, and will be held in Conference Room 6 on the lower level of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, 5555 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale. Call (602) 230-2273 (CARE) to reserve your seat. Registration is not required, but recommended.

A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls
This series of workshops is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable; set realistic goals to increase activity; change their environment to reduce fall risk factors; and, exercise to increase strength and balance. This class is a series of 8 classes.
Class dates are: January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13 20 and 27.
Event will take place in the Banner Thunderbird Lower Level Conference Room 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. No walk-ins will be accepted.
