Dining
The Banner Thunderbird cafeteria is located on the lower level and offers a variety of hot and cold food seven days a week. Hot meals are
served from 6 to 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 8 p.m. In addition, the grill is open from Midnight to 4 a.m. and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Restaurant Dining

Gift Shops
The main gift shop is located on the first floor, near the B-tower elevators. The gift shop offers visitors a collection of books, magazines, snacks, cards, personal items, keepsakes and flowers. Phone number and hours of operation are:

Saturday - Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Flower orders can also be arranged by calling the main gift shop. A credit card is required to place a flower order through the gift shop.
The baby gift shop is located on the second floor, C-tower, and offers a variety of items, especially for the new baby in your life. Phone number and hours of operation are:

Parking
Visitors are invited to use the parking structures on the East side (55th Avenue) or South side (Eugie Avenue) of the hospital, not to mention the various lots surrounding the hospital.
Wireless Phones
Cellular phones and two-way pagers are permitted in most areas of the hospital. Their use is prohibited in the Emergency Department, surgical areas and any of the hospital's intensive care or critical care units where they might interfere with patient care. There are several pay phones located on the hospital campus.
Smoking Policy
Banner Thunderbird is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas, which are clearly marked by signs. Please do not smoke near hospital entrances.
ATM Machine
An ATM machine is located in the Banner Thunderbird cafeteria on the lower level.
Interpreting Services
Patients have the right to request an interpreter in your native language to effectively communicate with your health care providers. Services include:
- Language Line – a user-friendly patient phone interpreting system covering 168 languages. Language Line is located on all units and is available 24 hours a day.
- Spanish Interpreters--Spanish bilingual interpreters are available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. Please ask your nurse to contact our in-house interpreters for assistance.
Spiritual Care
The Department of Spiritual Care is committed to creating a nurturing environment for the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families and staff. To request a visit from one of our chaplains, ask your nurse to call the chaplain on pager (602) 223-1868.
