Whether it’s blessing a newborn or leading a bedside prayer at end of life, our interfaith chaplains are here to help.
Spiritual Care respects and honors diverse theological views and all individual spiritual choices. We work with all hospital departments to link patients with their pastors, priests, rabbi or other faith-based supporters. We also work closely with the faith community and community social service agencies.
Interfaith Chapel & Meditation Room
Banner Thunderbird’s Chapel and Meditation Room are located inside the hospital’s North Lobby (main entrance), just west of the Hospital Information desk. The chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone who needs a place for quiet reflection and meditation.
Complimentary information in English and Spanish is available inside the chapel, as well. At 10 a.m. every Wednesday, the Chapel holds Catholic Communion services. Prayer rugs are located in the adjoining meditation room.
