Acupuncture is the most common procedure practiced within traditional Chinese medicine. Qi consists of all essential life activities and includes the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical aspects of our beings. It travels in pathways throughout the body called meridians or channels. A person's health is influenced by the flow of Qi in these meridians. Acupuncture is now offered at Banner Thunderbird through either group or longer individual sessions. To schedule an appointment call Echo at (480) 461-2400 and press option 1.
Known as a healing art, massage therapy is defined as the systematic manipulation of soft tissue. Massage can enhance general health and vitality, while the use of specialized methods can coax tension from muscles, ease stiff joints, reduce pain and promote healthy circulation. Massage can also stimulate lymph drainage and encourage the elimination of waste from the body. Massage is offered at all Banner facilities on a regular basis. There is the option of either chair massage or table massage and both are effective means to relieve stress and relax! To schedule an appointment call Echo at (480) 461-2400 and press option 1.
