Banner Thunderbird pays careful attention to the special needs of children touched by cancer. Whether dealing with the cancer diagnosis of a parent, relative or friend, Banner Thunderbird’s unique Kids Can Cope cancer support series helps children ages 6 - 16 understand and cope with cancer.
Kids Can Cope also serves as a resource for parents by helping them better understand and prepare for a child’s reaction to cancer.
Of course, adults also need support after receiving a personal cancer diagnosis and while undergoing treatment. I Can Cope is a monthly educational series (February through November) that covers a variety of cancer-related topics in a relaxed setting.
