Andrea's Closet

Andrea’s Closet is a toy closet established in honor of Andrea Nicole Brunk, a little girl who passed away from Leukemia shortly before her tenth birthday.

Following treatments and procedures, the pediatric patients of Banner Thunderbird are given the opportunity to choose a toy from the closet as a reward for their bravery.

Banner Thunderbird is home to three Andrea's Closets.  One is located in Banner Thunderbird Children's Center as well as one in the Radiology Department and the other in Banner Thunderbird's Pediatric Emergency Department.

Collection bins will be set up at various points at each Banner hospital location. For community residents interested in donating a new, unwrapped toy, please call (602) 865-5570.
