At times, even our youngest patients need help in dealing with and managing challenging health and personal issues.

That’s why Banner Thunderbird has a variety of support programs. If your child has a chronic or complex health issue, our social services and case management staff help with discharge and home care preparation.

To help ease hospital time, Banner Thunderbird’s Child Life Specialist works with children and families before and during stays. We also have special events, support groups and classes for families and children.
