Children's Center Visiting Hours

Family-Centered Care
At Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, we do not treat family members as visitors. Parents and family members are encouraged to visit as often as possible. In fact, sleeping accommodations are available in each patient room to allow a parent to stay with the child during their hospital admission.

Visiting Hours
Our patients are welcome to have visitors in their room, but we do ask that you be respectful of their need to heal, including time to rest. Visiting hours are the same as for the hospital—8 a.m. to 9 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.  Please understand that there are occasions when hospital staff may ask visitors to leave in order to better care for the patient.

Visitor Restrictions
Visitors may be limited at the attending nurse’s discretion or during the RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) season (approximately December through April) to prevent exposure. As always, visitors who may be ill are discouraged from visiting.
