The Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Department at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is a hospital based program providing comprehensive therapy for children in an outpatient setting, starting in infancy.
Therapy services include individual, group and multidisciplinary therapy sessions provided by physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. In addition, to best serve all our patients, Rehabilitation Services provides bilingual therapy and interpreters.
Our highly proficient staff work together to ensure that patients and their families receive the best care possible during their hospitalization or as an outpatient. Therapy and treatment goals are comprehensive, evidence-based, family-centered and designed to help the child function as independently as possible in their home, school
and community settings.
