Breastfeeding Support

Breast Feeding Class
This prenatal class is offered to women who plan on delivering at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. This class covers all the information new mothers need to get started nursing their baby including breastfeeding techniques, nutrition, breast milk production/storage and going back to work. To register, call (602) 230-CARE (2273).

Support for Nursing Mothers
Nursing mothers are invited to take advantage of Banner Thunderbird's Patient and Family Library on the second floor which offers information and handouts on many topics of interest to new mothers.

Nursing mothers can also gain more information by calling the Banner Thunderbird Lactation Office at (602) 865-5920.
