The Pediatrics Unit at Banner Children's houses 34 private patient rooms and cares for patients with diagnoses ranging from asthma and respiratory ailments to cancer, diabetes and surgical recovery.
The unit is designed with kids in mind. There's space for parents and visitors and diversions such as computer games and DVD/VCR movies as well as specialized care from dedicated pediatric nurses and physicians.
The Southwest Ambulance Playroom provides a welcome respite from the hospital experience for children and their families.
