Banner Children's is committed to providing compassionate, innovative cancer services tailored to meet the needs of its pediatric patients.
Experienced physicians and staff, technologically-advanced detection and treatment tools, and an array of support services help to create a positive environment for both inpatient and outpatient services for children with cancer and blood disorders.
A new 10-bed unit is designed specifically for the needs of children and families, featuring private rooms, comfortable and convertible sofas for parents to stay over, refrigerators, Internet access, flat-screen TV's and Nintendo games.
Children receive care by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, child life specialists, nutritionists, and other ancillary services. They are also supported through the Beads of Courage program, which enables the children to keep track of their progress.
Our physicians are board-certified in the specialty and active members of the Children's Oncology Group, a national research group in association with CureSearch, which provides patients with the most advanced treatment options and research trials available.
