Cardon Children's School

Cardon School

Going to the hospital can be an overwhelming experience for children and their families.  When children require medical treatment, their need for learning and creativity does not stop.

Cardon Children’s School at Cardon Children’s Medical Center brings the classroom to the hospital.  A staff of experienced teachers offers onsite classroom or bedside teaching to help kids keep up with their studies while in the hospital.

The goal of the school program is to provide hospitalized children with individualized educational assistance, progress tracking and school re-entry assistance, including education for children in the child’s home school regarding a child’s diagnosis, potential limitations, medications and other needs.

Cardon Children’s School was established in 2006 with generous funding from State Farm Insurance of Arizona and continues to be maintained through philanthropy. If you would like to help support the Cardon Children’s School, please contact us at 602-747-GIVE (4483).
