Child Life Specialists
Cardon Children's Medical Center offers certified child life specialists who focus on the unique social, emotional and psychological needs of pediatric patients.
Additionally, on-site cancer care social workers provide free counseling to patients and their families through all phases of the cancer continuum. Learn more about child life specialists
Beads of Courage

Returning to School
Readjustment to "normal" activities is another important part of healing. For children, this readjustment often means returning to school. At Cardon Children's Medical Center, our educators work with school-age cancer patients to help in their transition back to school.
