School-Based Health Centers
Conveniently located on school campuses, Banner Health has School-Based Health Centers that operate like a regular doctor's office.
Our nurse practitioners can help uninsured children with:
- health problems
- physicals for camp or sports
- those who are due for a check-up.
Banner Health professionals provided free care to more than 3,000 children in 2010. This program is funded by the Banner Foundation.
Children visit the clinics for concerns ranging from earaches to neurological conditions. We can help children and families learn about common health conditions and where they can find additional resources.
