Pediatric Cardiology
The Pediatric Cardiology program at Cardon Children's Medical Center is designed to diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart disease in infants, children and young adults.
We offer advanced diagnosis and treatment for congenital heart disease and structural problems such as:
- congenital heart defects
- acquired heart disease
- abnormal heart rhythm
- chest pain
- heart murmurs
- syncope
Our diagnostic tools include:
- fetal echocardiography
- transthoracic echocardiography
- electrocardiography
- diagnostic and interventional catheterization
Our pediatric catheterization team provides care for comprehensive congenital heart defects; procedures include diagnostic evaluation, atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect (VSD) device closure, and patent ductus arteriosis (PDA) coiling/ligation.
We offer family-centered care, with a comprehensive team that includes:
