What NOT to bring
At Cardon Children's Medical Center, it is our goal to make sure your child has the most positive hospital experience possible.
For your child’s safety, certain items are not allowed in the operating room. These include:
- Nail polish
- Cosmetics
- Jewelry
- Glasses/contacts
Please remove these items prior to coming to Cardon Children’s. If your child wears glasses or contacts, please bring with you the proper storage containers to store with you during surgery.
If you have other children, please make plans for child care. Other children may not be allowed to visit all pre- or post-op areas, and we want you to be able to focus on your child that day.
