In Our Community
Banner Lassen Medical Center is so proud to be part of this community. Our health care professionals are honored that our neighbors and friends put their health in our hands to ensure that they are receiving the very best care.
Manicures, Massages and Mammograms
Every year, Banner Lassen Medical Center hosts a fun, relaxing event that also helps monitor breast health.
Community members experience a day of pampering with free 10 -15 minute chair massages and free manicures. We also offer discounted screening mammograms.
Early detection is the best way to protect yourself from breast cancer and mammograms are the best tool for finding and fighting breast cancer early. Mammograms are especially important for women over 40. This special event takes place every October and is just one of the many ways Banner Lassen contributes to its community.
Keeping People Warm:
This year, the hospital collected more than 300 coats to help people in need. Not only is it colder earlier than normal this year, there's more of demand for warmer coats because of the economy.
Banner Lassen Medical Center was able to collect coats of all sizes and colors, new and old -- all now worn people who feel just a little bit warmer inside and out.
Banner Lassen Medical Center also proudly sponsors:
- Youth Sports
- Lassen Land and Trails Trust
- Miss Lassen County Pageant
- Sober Graduation
- Susanville Symphony
Our employees and volunteers continue to be committed to our nonprofit mission: We exist to make a difference in people’s lives through excellent patients care. And we thank the community for the opportunity to do just that.
