Our experienced staff at the Banner Lassen Emergency department immediately assesses each patient’s condition and begins treatment as quickly as possible.
Depending signs and symptoms, a patient may be admitted to the hospital for further observation and diagnostic testing.
When patients require more advanced diagnostic, surgical or non-surgical care, they may be transferred to another larger hospital.
Patients who remain with Banner Lassen are typically evaluated, either on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Often, we will perform a stress test done with either exercise or medication to get a patient’s heart rate up so we can measure heart function. Banner Lassen can also perform CT scans, echocardiography or EKGs.
