Balance for Life
Balance for Life at East Morgan County Hospital is an eight-week program designed for individuals over the age of 65 who have not developed balance problems or have only minor balance issues. The program's goal is to build strength and teach balance activities to reduce the risk of falls.
Classes for the eight-week session are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 10 a.m. in the Alonzo Petteys Rehabilitation Center. There is a $35 registration fee.
Participants must go through a short screening to confirm the class is appropriate for them or if they would benefit from one-on-one physical therapy. There is no charge for the screening, and participants should complete it any time during the two weeks before the class starts. To schedule your screening, call (970) 842-6239.
