Our goal at East Morgan County Hospital is to make every experience right the first time for every patient. We do this with team members who are in health care for all the right reasons.
The patient experience is embedded into our culture. Rather than waiting until after patients are discharged to learn about their experience, we emphasize ongoing communication with both patients and their family members. This allows us to tackle any issues during their stay.
In addition to using patient satisfaction surveys to gather additional insight on the patient experience, we also reach out personally with discharge phone calls. By reaching out to every patient after they return home, we can follow up on their well-being, determine if their needs were met and help with any current health questions or concerns.
Many of our patients know our physicians, staff members and volunteers from the community. This builds added comfort and trust. What might be surprising to learn is that half of our clinic patients come from outside communities. They come to East Morgan because of our reputation of clinical quality and patient-centered care.
It is our pleasure and honor to serve all those who come to us for care. We encourage you to share your thoughts on our service with any member of the East Morgan County Hospital family.
