Cataract Surgery

Cataract surgery at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush provides northeastern Colorado with eye surgery services as an outpatient procedure performed here in our hospital. Greeley ophthalmologist Jeffrey Weeks performs the procedures, visiting Brush to see patients and perform surgeries one day each month.

Cataract sugery corrects clouding of the lens, which may impair a person's vision or cause them to have a glare in strong light. To correct the condition, surgeons remove the natural lens of the eye and replace it with a synthetic lens.

By keeping the surgeries in the community, we provide extra convenience and safety since our patients will not have to commute to a larger city.
