Heart conditions are the number-one reason patients come to East Morgan County Hospital.
As the major health care provider in Morgan County, Colo., our Emergency room is equipped to stabilize patients experiencing chest pain or other discomforts due to heart disease.
East Morgan offers the following heart care services:
Most often, patients are diagnosed in East Morgan’s Emergency room, then referred to a larger hospital in a major city to receive non-surgical or surgical treatments for their heart condition.
Once patients return home, they may continue to see East Morgan’s visiting cardiologists in the Specialty Clinic and be admitted to the Cardiac Rehab program for follow-up care including medication management, supervised exercise instruction and diet consultations. Upon completion of the cardiac rehab program, additional support and classes are available.
