Surgical Area
In 2010, East Morgan County Hospital expanded and remodeled our perioperative and surgical suites. Family members now can follow their loved one through the surgical process with the case-tracking board (identifying Pre-OP, OR, and PACU locations).
Electronic medical records helps patient care within all hospital departments. Records are available immediately
The department that makes up our Surgical Suite includes:
- pre-op holding unit
- operating rooms
- post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
- sterile processing unit.
Caregivers in these units work with each other and the surgeons, anesthesiologists and other health care professionals to provide the best surgical experience possible.
