About Heart Disease
McKee offers HeartWatchers, an ongoing adult fitness class, for heart care patients. The HeartWatchers program was developed by physicians and nurses at McKee Medical Center approximately 25 years ago to assist cardiac patients in creating a support group and venue to exercise with other cardiac rehabilitation patients.
HeartWatchers is offered six times per week with classes in the mornings and evenings in the cardiac gym at McKee. Stationary bikes and treadmills are available for exercise as well as staff-led stretching groups. Other fitness classes are also available and can be accessed through Events and Classes at McKee.
