CPR for Healthcare Providers
The Healthcare Provider course is designed to meet the needs of health care professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. This American Heart Association (AHA) approved course will teach participants the techniques needed for adult and pediatric CPR. Providers will learn to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), a bag valve mask (BVM) and two-rescuer CPR. Upon completion of the course participants receive a two-year Healthcare Certification card. The recommended class size is a minimum of six people. If you are unable to meet the on-site minimum class size requirements your employees can attend the community CPR classes offered monthly.
HeartSaver CPR/AED Certification
This class can be provided on-site at your workplace. The class is taught by American Heart Association (AHA) certified health care professionals and covers adult and infant/child CPR, obstructed airway, the Heimlich maneuver, and the use of a barrier device. Rescuers will learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and rescue techniques with the AED. Upon completion of the course participants will receive a HeartSaver course completion card. The certification is valid for two years. The recommended class size is a minimum of six people. If you are unable to meet the on-site minimum class size requirements your employees can attend the community CPR classes offered monthly.
HeartSaver FIRST AID
This is an American Heart Association comprehensive approach to medical and traumatic injuries. Topics covered in class include: fractures, bleeding, shock, allergic reactions, seizures, diabetic emergencies, and environmental emergencies. Upon completion of the course, participants receive a two year certification card.
