Birthing Services

McKee Medical Center's Family Birthing Center offers comfortable and spacious birthing suites that allow mothers to have their labor, delivery and recovery in the same room.

Each birthing suite provides a home-like setting with jetted tub for mother’s relaxation. If a mother requires a C-section delivery, our unit has two C-section operating rooms and recovery rooms.

Family Centered Care
At McKee Medical Center, we encourage family involvement in the birthing experience, and our birthing suites provide space for fathers to spend the night if they choose. Visiting hours are flexible so other family members can share in the happy occasion.

Nursery/Lactation Rooms
Many mothers choose to care for their baby within their room, but when mom needs a break or baby requires additional monitoring, our highly experienced staff in our Level II Nursery can provide quality care.

When a baby must stay longer than his or her mother because of health concerns, it can be a challenging time for the new family. Our nursery has private areas where families can spend time with their newborns, along with private lactation rooms where a new mother can nurse her child.

VIP Suite
Our VIP Suite in the McKee Family Birthing Center offers a little extra pampering for mothers and fathers, including:

• An expansive room with breathtaking views
• Beautiful floral arrangement
• Gourmet dinner for two
• Large screen TV
• Limousine ride home

Security for Moms and Babies
Stays at our Family Birthing Center will not only be comfortable for new parents and babies, but secure as well because our state-of-the-art security system controls access to the birthing center to approved employees and visitors.
