Maternity Services

Physician and father with new baby Learn more about Sabrina's and Sarah's experiences.

Having a baby is an exciting time, and at McKee Medical Center’s Family Birthing Center, patients, doctors and staff work together to meet each mother-to-be and baby’s needs throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery. We know this is one of life’s most important experiences, and we’re committed to making it safe, comfortable and memorable.

Our staff provides personalized care and the latest technology in a family-centered environment with spacious, private rooms where mothers can labor, deliver, recover and receive post-partum care without having to move to a new location. We offer a full complement of childbirth and parenting classes, including counseling and support for breastfeeding.

Women should check with their physician to determine which prenatal tests should be scheduled.

Healthy Beginnings for the under-insured

Our Healthy Beginnings program assists in finding early and adequate prenatal, delivery, support and educational services for low-income, under-insured and uninsured women. Women receive the care they need through a variety of health care providers, including doctors or certified nurse-midwives, public health nurses, medical social workers and childbirth instructors.
