McKee Medical Center offers a varisty of classes, wellness programs, education and support for our new parents.
- Classes: McKee Medical Center offers a variety of classes, including those for childbirth, breastfeeding, osteoporosis bone density screenings and more.
- Wellness Programs: McKee also offers a variety of community health and wellness programs. Educational programs, health screenings, flu shot clinics and senior support services are offered throughout the year at convenient community locations. For more information, call (970) 669-WELL (9355).
- Patient Library: Additionally, our Wellspring Library provides a comprehensive collection of health and wellness information that is available to the public, including books, journals, newsletters and video/audio tapes as well as research assistance. The Wellspring Library is open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information call (970) 635-4048.
- Parenting information: Please visit our kids health information section for more informaiton on parenting as well as activities for teens and young children.
- Healthy Beginnings for the under-insured: Our Healthy Beginnings program assists in finding early and adequate prenatal, delivery, support and educational services for low-income, under-insured and uninsured women. Women receive the care they need through a variety of health care providers, including doctors or certified nurse-midwives, public health nurses, medical social workers and childbirth instructors.
