• Received a bachelor of arts in microbiology and his medical doctorate from Texas Tech University, Lubbock,Texas 
• Completed his internship and residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center
• Completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center

• Serves as a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Colorado Medical Society and the Weld County Medical Society
• Joined the Cardiology Clinic at the CardioVascular Institute of North Colorado in 2007
