Cardiovascular Classes and Support Groups
At North Colorado Medical Center, we offer a variety of classes and support groups to help you and your heart:

- Cardiac Education Classes
- Implanted Cardioversion Defibrillators (ICD) Education
Do you want to make exercise a habit? Our program will help you improve your health and fitness and tone your muscles. Join a program supervised by exercise specialists and choose from four class times that are convenient for your busy schedule. No contracts are required. Cost: $45 per month per person or $80 per couple. Call Cardiac Rehab at (970) 350-6204 to enroll.
Cardiac Education Classes
The Cardiac Rehab Department offers free classes about topics related to the heart and ways to develop and maintain heart-healthy daily habits: exercise, eating, healthy cooking, managing stress, and following your doctor’s advice. Six different topics are offered. Classes are held every other week, with the topic repeated at four class times. To find out the class topic and register, call (970) 350-6204.
Implanted Cardioversion Defibrillator (ICD) Education
This class is for patients who are living with ICDs and their family and friends. Topics include nutrition, safe activity, updates in ICD technology and more. Classes take place on the fourth Tuesday of the months of January, April, July and October from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the NCMC CVI Classroom on 3rd floor, area A. Experts include Dr. Arnold Pfahnl, Paul Skinger, RN, and representatives from St. Jude, Medtronic and Boston Scientific.
