NCMC plans H1N1 vaccination clinics beginning Wednesday
Nov. 17, 2009 — North Colorado Medical Center Community Wellness will offer H1N1 vaccinations to members of the public who meet certain criteria during five clinics scheduled this month.

North Colorado Medical Center Renewed as National Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence
Sept. 25, 2009 — North Colorado Medical Center announced today they have received renewal designation as a “Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence” by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the Surgical Review Corporation. NCMC and Dr. Michael Johnell, received the designation after a thorough, detailed examination of the bariatric program components and outcomes, including an on-site survey by medical professionals.

NCMC implements new visitor guidelines for flu season
Sept. 3, 2009 —North Colorado Medical Center has announced that it is implementing new visitor restrictions as an additional precautionary measure to ensure a safe environment for patients and protect patients, visitors and employees during the influenza season.
Fifteen NCMC volunteers receive $50,000 in scholarships
July 23, 2009 — The Volunteer Leadership Council at North Colorado Medical Center recently awarded 15 NCMC volunteers $50,000 in scholarships. Banner Health makes Colorado leadership changes
PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 29, 2008) - Banner Health President and CEO Peter Fine announced today top executive changes at both North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) in Greeley, Colo., and McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colo. NCMC's CEO Gene O'Hara will leave his post Friday, May 2nd, and will become CEO of the developing medical campus of Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Arizona's Pinal County. NCMC, Inc. files medical campus development plan in Frederick, Colo.
GREELEY, Colo. (April 11, 2008) — NCMC, Inc., the Board of Directors for North Colorado Medical Center, has contracted with the Frederick Development Group to purchase 50 acres of land near the intersection of I25 and SH-52 in Frederick in southern Weld County for development as a medical campus. Closing on the land purchase is anticipated by mid-summer 2008.

North Colorado Medical Center to add second helicopter
December 20, 2007 (Greeley, CO) - NCMC, has announced that it will add a second helicopter to its medical air transport service and change the program name to North Colorado Med Evac (currently AirLife of Greeley) effective February 1, 2008. The service will be operated in a partnership with Med-Trans Corporation, a leading provider of air ambulance programs. The location for the second helicopter will be announced in the near future.

Community partnership provides $6M for increased access to health care services.
Greeley, CO (January 11, 2007)—The NCMC, Inc. Board of Directors has announced the purchase of 60,000 square feet of space in the TriPointe Business Center at 3001 8th Avenue, Evans, CO to be used for the relocation and expansion of Sunrise Community Health Center. “A community funding partnership has made it possible to expand access to primary health care for the community,” said Kay Drake, Chairperson of the NCMC, Inc. Board. The Monfort Family Foundation, Banner Health and NCMC, Inc. have each contributed $2 million in capital funding for the $6 million purchase and renovation of the facility. Sunrise Community Health Center will provide the annual operating funding of approximately $13 million through the partnership.
North Colorado Medical Center awarded $1M for health technology
Greeley, CO (November 8, 2006)—North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC), a Banner Health facility, announced that it has been awarded $1,000,000 from the Federal Government to upgrade telehealth technology in northern Colorado. These funds have been awarded to NCMC through a request sponsored by Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave in the 2007 Appropriations Bill, which was signed into law by President Bush in late October. The funds will be allocated in the 2007 budget of the Telemedicine and Technology Research Center (TATRC), based in Fort Dietrich, Maryland, under the direction of the Department of Defense.
North Colorado Medical Center first in Colorado with K9 program
Greeley, Colorado (September 27, 2006)—North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) announces the addition of a K9 unit to its hospital security team.
