New Bell 407 aircraft to be located in Eastern Colorado

The aircraft and medical flight crew will be based at the Colorado Plains Regional Airport (Akron, CO) and begin operation 24-hours a day, seven days a week effective January 16, 2014.

North Colorado Medical Center asks for blood donations
GREELEY, Colo. (Sept. 17, 2012) — North Colorado Medical Center’s Blood Donor Center is asking for community help to fill a critical blood supply need. A trio of traumas over the weekend depleted supply by half, said Blood Donor Center community outreach coordinator Andrea Hawkins. In addition, the hospital has seen an increase in the number of vehicle accidents, surgeries and other traumas in recent weeks. The center typically collects about 200 units each week.

March 8, 2012 – North Colorado Medical Center, a Banner Health facility, has nearly completed the interior demolition phase on the facility to be used for extension of emergency department services to west Greeley. The service will be located in the building adjacent to the Summit View Urgent Care Center at 2001 70th Ave. in west Greeley. Renovation and re-construction on the 11,000-square foot area will begin upon receipt of building permits later in March. The project is valued at $5.9 million.

Greeley, CO (January 11, 2007)—The NCMC, Inc. Board of Directors has announced the purchase of 60,000 square feet of space in the TriPointe Business Center at 3001 8th Avenue, Evans, CO to be used for the relocation and expansion of Sunrise Community Health Center. “A community funding partnership has made it possible to expand access to primary health care for the community,” said Kay Drake, Chairperson of the NCMC, Inc. Board. The Monfort Family Foundation, Banner Health and NCMC, Inc. have each contributed $2 million in capital funding for the $6 million purchase and renovation of the facility. Sunrise Community Health Center will provide the annual operating funding of approximately $13 million through the partnership.
North Colorado Medical Center awarded $1M for health technology
Greeley, CO (November 8, 2006)—North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC), a Banner Health facility, announced that it has been awarded $1,000,000 from the Federal Government to upgrade telehealth technology in northern Colorado. These funds have been awarded to NCMC through a request sponsored by Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave in the 2007 Appropriations Bill, which was signed into law by President Bush in late October. The funds will be allocated in the 2007 budget of the Telemedicine and Technology Research Center (TATRC), based in Fort Dietrich, Maryland, under the direction of the Department of Defense.
North Colorado Medical Center first in Colorado with K9 program
