About Western States Burn Center (WSBC)
Our goal is to help our patients recover from burn injuries by providing the highest quality care in a compassionate environment. We strive to make our patients' stays as comfortable as possible.

Under the direction of Cleon Goodwin, MD, our 10-bed intensive care burn center allows for the most sophisticated treatment and technology available for the care of thermal, chemical, and electrical burn injuries. In addition, burn center staff can care for four additional burn patients if the demand arises. The Western States Burn Center also specializes in the care of acute skin disorders.

Our multi-disciplinary expertise and advanced care for adult burn patients is unique because our specialized team brings more than 100 years of combined experience and dedication to the care of burn patients.

Our team includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physiatrists, nurses, physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapists, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists and psychologists. Coordination of these services enables optimal patient care, from the initial acute setting to the outpatient rehabilitation process.

Western States Burn Center was designed with the special needs of the burn patient in mind. We provide a friendly, supportive environment staffed by a skilled, caring and knowledgeable team. Our emphasis is on the physical and mental healing of our patients. To that end we provide individualized care, geared to the unique needs of each patient and family member.

Western States Burn Center professionals provide burn care and consultation to hospitals in the following states: Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
