Who do I call with a general laboratory question?
Answer: North Colorado Medical Center laboratory has a customer service staff that can be reached at (970) 350-6400 between
7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Do I need to fast and for how long for laboratory tests?
Answer: In general, only two laboratory tests (glucose and lipids) consistently require a 10-14 hour fast before collection of the blood. Fasting means only water -- no juice, coffee, nicotine, or chewing gum. Many other laboratory tests or your physician can require you to fast. Please call customer service at (970) 350-6400 or your physician for additional information.
Do I need an appointment to get my blood drawn?
Answer: No appointment is necessary to get blood drawn. View our hours of operation and locations.
How do I get my laboratory results?
Answer: If you are a patient, please contact your physician or NCMC medical records at (970) 350-6500 to obtain a copy of your results.
