Laboratory Services

North Colorado Medical Center's Laboratory represents a team of highly qualified health care professionals dedicated to producing accurate, complete and timely laboratory results.  By providing excellent service, the laboratory strives to assist other health professionals in delivery of quality patient care.  Four anatomic and clinical board-certified pathologists lead the laboratory staff of approximately 70 clinical and business associates. 

The NCMC Laboratory is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and performs the majority of tests in-house.  The remaining tests, consisting primarily of low-volume tests, are promptly sent to outstanding, established reference laboratories including Mayo Medical Laboratories, Colorado University, Associated Regional University Pathologists, Inc., U.S. Labs, Prometheus, and Colorado Public Health.
