North Colorado Medical Center is one of only 11 Level II Trauma Centers in the state of Colorado.
North Colorado Medical Center is certified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as a Level II Trauma Center. We have also achieved the acclaimed verification by the American College of Surgeons ACS as a Level II trauma Center as well.
As a Level II Trauma Center and participant of the state trauma system, NCMC serves as a referral facility to several outer lying hospitals in the region, operating as a resource for consultation and transfer of their trauma patients.
NCMC incorporates a multi-disciplinary team of Surgeons, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, Social Workers and Chaplains to ensure comprehensive treatment encompassing all aspects of needs of the trauma patients throughout their hospital stay and beyond.
By implementing comprehensive quality standards, NCMC is able to provide trauma care excellence in a compassionate environment.
