Trauma Program
NCMC is one of only eight Level II Trauma Centers in the state of Colorado.
Not only recognized as an esteemed trauma care facility within the state, NCMC has also achieved the acclaimed verification as a trauma center by the AmericanCollegeof Surgeons. (ACS).
As a Level II Trauma Center and participant of the state trauma system, North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) serves as a referral facility to several outer lying hospitals in the region, operating as a resource for consultation and transfer of their trauma patients.
NCMC incorporates a multi-disciplinary team of Surgeons, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Physiatrists, Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers and Chaplains to ensure comprehensive treatment encompassing all aspects of needs of the trauma patients throughout their hospital stay, and beyond.
Through expert inclusive care and excellence in definitions of standards, we are able to provide quality trauma care in a compassionate environment.
