Women's Support & Education

 

North Colorado Medical Center offers many options in classes, including those for childbirth, first aid, injury prevention and baby sitting. We also provide free lectures throughout the year that address a wide range of topics including sports medicine, weight-loss surgery, heart health and more.

  • The Family Life Education Program offers a number of classes to prepare families for the experience of birth. Go to the Family Life Education Program for complete class descriptions, dates, times, costs and other important information, or call (970) 378-4044.   Online registration is now available for your convenience.
  • Support groups are also available to parents of premature infants, twins/multiples.
  • Free breastfeeding education and support is also available.
  • Ask a nurse to contact the chaplain or clergy member to arrange a visit for spiritual care and support during a mother's stay.
  • North Colorado Medical Center offers a variety of wellness and health screening programs that provide education and support for disease prevention as well as healthy behavior changes. Programs are held at our hospital, as well as other locations throughout Greeley and surrounding communities. For more information call (970) 350-6633.
  • Our Wellspring Library provides a comprehensive collection of health and wellness information that is available to the public, including books, journals, newsletters, and audio/video tapes as well as research assistance.
