Lymphoma is a group of cancers that develop within the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system are the organs and tissues that produce, house and carry white blood cells.

Hodgkin's disease is a type of lymphoma that develops within the white blood cells. All other lymphomas are categorized as Non-Hodgkin lymphomas.  Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is the fifth most common cancer within the U.S., excluding skin cancer.
