Intravenous (IV) administration of medications and nutrition is an important aspect in the treatment of cancer, arthritis, osteoporosis and multiple sclerosis.

The Ogallala Community Hospital outpatient Infusion Therapy Center provides these services for Keith County in a comfortable and caring environment.

Services include:

• Chemotherapy
•  IV and injectable antibiotics
• Hydration and electrolyte replacement
• Central line and catheter care
• Blood and platelet transfusions
• Pain management
• Dressing changes
  

Patients can relax during treatment on comfortable recliners with personal televisions.

Certified chemotherapy nurses provide one-on-one care and are available for in-person or telephone consultations when questions arise.

To minimize travel, our nurses can also coordinate chemotherapy treatment for patients under the care of out-of-town oncologists.
