The Emergency department at Ogallala Community Hospital is proud to serve the emergency care needs of the residents in Keith County and the surrounding area. We are committed to treating patients medical conditions thoroughly and efficiently and always with Banner’s mission in mind – to provide safe, excellent patient care.
At Ogallala Community, our trained staff of emergency service personnel is dedicated to providing high quality care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Ogallala Community Hospital is designated a Basic Level Trauma Center. If it is necessary for a patient to be transferred, one of four air ambulance services fly to our on-site helipad, providing timely and professional medical attention.
Ogallala Medical Group also provides clinic care through an After Hours Clinic on Saturday mornings 8 a.m. - noon. Walk in appointments are available until 11:45 a.m.
At Ogallala Community Hospital, we recognize that emergencies are not planned and are often stressful situations. That’s why we’re working to make sure a visit to our Emergency department goes as smoothly as possible. We’re working to improve the design of our Emergency departments as well as our processes in order to ensure that patients are seen by a physician and receive care as quickly as possible.
Communication plays a key role in the successful course of treatment in the Emergency department. Language and interpretive services are available at all Banner facilities; please ask the nurse or ward clerk about these services.
