The Ogallala Community Hospital lab provides both inpatient and outpatient laboratory testing. We are committed to serving our patients in the most efficient, caring manner possible.
New relationships
Ogallala Community Hospital recently selected Horizon Laboratories and Mayo Medical Laboratories as its primary reference laboratories. Horizon Laboratory is a Banner Health lab that will handle a majority of specimens that need to be sent to a reference laboratory. We also have access to Mayo Clinic’s extensive menu of laboratory tests and clinical expertise for advanced lab testing.
Through its worldwide network of more than 4,000 clients, Mayo Medical Laboratories enables hospitals around the world to send tests to the laboratories of Mayo Clinic, which are some of the most sophisticated in the world. Through this arrangement, Ogallala Community Hospital will offer our community immediate access to complex tests performed by Mayo Clinic.
Outpatient testing 7:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday -Friday
Paternity testing, breath alcohol testing and drug screen collections available by appointment only (Tuesday -Thursday). Call Central Scheduling for appointments at (308) 284-4011.

Testing not performed on site is sent out to a reference laboratory.
Our laboratory staff members are nationally certified as medical laboratory technicians or medical technologists.
