Laboratory Services

The lab at the Ogallala Community Hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient laboratory testing.

Services performed in the lab include:

• hematology
• chemistry
• coagulation
• immunology
• urinalysis
• blood banking
• blood cultures
• gram stains
• therapeutic phlebotomy
• collecting of paternal testing specimen
• breath alcohol testing
• drug screen collection and limited drug screen testing.

Testing not performed on site is sent out to a reference laboratory.

Our laboratory staff consists of highly trained individuals who are nationally certified as Medical Laboratory Technicians or Medical Technologists. They are dedicated to providing accurate testing helping ensure your future health.

Lab hours:

• Outpatient specimen collection is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday -Friday
• Paternity testing, Breath Alcohol testing and Drug Screen collections available by appointment only (Tuesday -Thursday)
