Maternity Services
Every birth is special at the Ogallala Community Hospital. Our physicians, nurses and support staff are honored to be a part of the arrival and want to support each expectant mother throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery.
Your physician will guide you on prenatal care and testing. If you need to establish a relationship with a primary care provider, the Banner Health Clinic in Ogallala physicians can handle your maternity care as well as follow up pediatric care. Those with high-risk pregnancies or who need specialized care can take advantage of our Specialty Clinic visiting obstetrician.
We encourage all first-time parents to take the Childbirth Education Class. Even if this is your second (or third) time around, there are plenty of helpful tips to make this a worthwhile experience. For more information on the next class or to register, call (308) 284-3645.
When it’s time for delivery, Ogallala Community Hospital has a large, private suite with a comfortable, home-like setting. We offer epidural pain relief. Mothers and babies share a private room and family members can be part of the happy occasion with flexible visiting hours.
