The caring physicians and staff at Ogallala Community Hospital understand that having a baby is an exciting time for a family. Our doctors and staff work together to meet each mother-to-be and baby’s needs throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery.
Classes and Education
We encourage all first-time parents to consider our childbirth education classes. Even if this is your second (or third) time around, there are plenty of helpful tips to make this a worthwhile experience.
In addition, we offer breastfeeding classes and along with infant care classes.
Ogallala Community Hospital offers large, private suites which are large enough to accommodate mom, baby and family. We practice family-centered care. Families can involve whomever is important to them in welcoming their new arrival and supporting the family's transition.
Our private patient rooms include:
- Private bathrooms
- Chairs that convert to beds
- Flat-screen televisions
- Wireless Internet access
We ensure the highest level of safety for mothers and babies by using the latest medical technologies such as PeriBirth, an innovative system proven to reduce complications during childbirth, and our electronic medical records system, so the entire birthing team is able to access your up-to-date medical information at the tip of their fingers.
