Diabetes Education

Banner Churchill Community Hospital’s Diabetes Education program will close effective July 1, 2009 due to declining volumes. 

We are committed to educating our inpatient and Emergency department staff on diabetes education, preparing resource materials for the physician offices as well as the nursing units.  Additionally, Mary Koch, dietician, will continue providing nutritional consults on a fee-for-service basis.  She can be reached at (775) 428-6644.

We are looking in to other ways to provide support and education to those with diabetes and their family.  Please check back on our Web site periodically for updates.
