Banner Churchill's Emergency Medical Services covers more than 5,900 square miles, making us one of only two hospital-operated paramedic/EMT/EMS providers in northern Nevada.
Certified for transporting patients with blood and blood products
The Nevada State Health Division Office of Emergency Medical Systems has approved Banner Churchill Community Hospital's Emergency Medical Services to transport patients with blood and blood products being administered while performing an interfacility transfer.
We are the first EMS agency in the State of Nevada to have this approved as part of our protocols.
Equipment that provides safety for the patient and the staff
Our new Bariatric Patient System allows our Emergency Medical Service (EMS) crews to safely lift patients weighing more than 350 pounds into an ambulance.
