Community Hospital opened in 1949 and is today a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Torrington, Wy.

Community Hospital continues to build on a tradition of excellent patient care while offering the latest in healthcare technology. Our digital mammography offers women the latest in technology to best detect breast cancer in early stages. In 2010, the hospital built a 3,700 square foot state of the art emergency department.  Along with an electronic medical records system, Community Hospital also offers an intelligent OB program, a computerized system designed to reduce the chances of complications during labor and delivery.

Our nurse to patient ratio (1:3.1) is considered to be one of the best in the nation, and our highly trained nursing staff is dedicated to providing our patients with personalized excellent care.  The hospital has 175 employees on staff, making it one of Goshen County's largest employers.
