Community Hospital opened in 1949 and is today a 25-bed critical access hospital. Banner Community professionals pride themselves on providing excellent medical care to residents in southeast Wyoming and bordering Nebraska communities. We strive to care for our patients, their families and friends as neighbors would, with thoughtfulness and respect.
The hospital has a monitored bed unit and short-term ventilator care unit. Newly decorated private and semi-private rooms provide patients and their families with a safe and comfortable healing environment.
Community Hospital also offers IPROB, a computerized system designed to reduce the chances of complications during labor and delivery.
Community Hospital has a highly-trained nursing staff dedicated to providing our patients with excellent care. Our nurse to patient ratio (1:3.1) is considered to be one of the best in the nation. The hospital has 175 employees and 10 physicians on staff.
